Pete Weissman
Pete Weissman is an award-winning speechwriter, speaker and communications director with 25 years of experience supporting leaders in the White House, United States Senate and Fortune 100 companies.
His Atlanta-based firm provides speechwriting, thought leadership and strategic communications services to high profile companies, foundations and associations.
Pete specializes in helping senior executives become recognized as Thought Leaders, highly visible leaders who are recognized as driving their industries.
Born in South Florida, Pete was a national speech and debate champion in high school. He studied Journalism and Mass Communications at Washington and Lee University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
Pete’s professional experience includes three years in the West Wing of the White House supporting the Office of the Press Secretary and the Director of the National Economic Council. Pete then served as Deputy Communications Director and Speechwriter in the United States Senate.
In 2007, he joined The Coca-Cola Company, as Director, Leadership Communications and Senior Executive Speechwriter to CEO and Chairman, Neville Isdell, who said, “Pete elevated my speeches and The Coca-Cola Company’s communications to an entirely new level.”
Pete has written for the world’s most influential venues, including the World Economic Forum, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Clinton Global Initiative.

Presentations
Pete is a frequent speaker at national and international communications conferences. In 2011, he addressed the Ragan/PRSA Speechwriters’ Conference on “Raising the Podium: How to Help Your Executives Become Thought Leaders.” In August 2012, he offered tips to 450 speakers at the 81st annual world convention of Toastmasters International. He’s also addressed students at George Washington University, the University of Maryland and American University.
